Fourth of July Festival!

In July of 2014 my dolls had a 4th of July parade which was so much fun. Last year, they did the Battle of the Bands between the Glitter Stars and the Stars and Sparkles. This year is a 4th of July Festival with music, dancing, food, and games!

Cecile, Chloe, and Felicity play as many patriotic tunes as they can remember while they wait for Molly to wake up, get dressed and run down to the stage to tap dance the Miss Victory song with Emily.

 Soon, even more dancers join.

Audience members are flocking to the stage to see the show. They get to sit at tables and eat while they watch.

If they need more food, they just go to Kathy’s stand of hamburgers, hot dogs, and Popsicles.

Behind the food stand, Saige and Caroline are running a bean bag toss where Ruthie and Maru are having a contest on who can get the most bags in the hole.

Maru’s long arms are a big advantage and she wins.

Tanya and Tasha shout to people to come play their game.

Their game is so small, it’s hard to see. It’s a ring toss of colorful horseshoes.

Alison takes a shoe from Tasha and throws, but doesn’t quite make it, and then she gets distracted by the booth next door.

Sonali, having put on a great magician’s show, now gives her audience members, Jacky and Maggie spoons to have an egg race. They have to put the spoons in between their teeth and not drop it while they walk.

Maggie just got her braces off so her teeth are really strong and she wins!

The final game of the day is a sack race. Hattie and Fanny hop, hop, hop and try to knock each other down.

Happy 4th of July!
