Camp Doll Diaries Week 1

Hi! It’s Heather (the human) 🙂

Jacky has been posting all about her adventures but since she’s so busy she doesn’t get to see what some of the other campers have been up to:

On the first day of Camp, Laura showed us how to make a Conestoga wagon.  I made mine from a shoebox covered in a paper bag.  Kirsten grabbed her cousins, Lisbeth and Anna (really Molly and Isabella) and showed it to them:

Lisbeth and Kirsten borrowed Steps High from Kaya to pull the wagon.

Anna’s in her prairie dress in the back.

The second day of Camp Kaya and Lindsey went fishing. Kaya made her fishing pole out of a skewer that she glued beads to and strung embroidery floss for the line.  The hook is made of half a paper clip.

Lyndsey’s fishing set is the fly fishing outfit from American Girl from 2001.

Kit’s birthday was that day and that evening some of the girls decided to surprise Kit in the cafeteria! ( I know that Kit’s official birthday is in May, but my Kit celebrates her’s in June!)

Kirsten and Nellie set the table up with Kit’s favorite roll-up cake.

Happy birthday Kit!

All of the crafts were from doll diaries.  Thank you Doll diaries! The dolls had so much fun and are really excited about next week.

Keep scrolling down because Jacky just posted a new post about her water rafting adventures! See below:
